After doing so many different role in Bollywod movies, Riteish Deshmukh is ready to play Aladdin in Sujoy Ghosh’s childhood fantasy Aladdin & the Mystery of the Lamp , with Amitabh Bachchan as his genie.

Riteish said that he don’t know what plans Sujoy and Rohan Sippy have about his looks. It could be totally Arabian or it might be somewhat contemporary. But he is excited about it.

He said that Sujoy told him that he was his first and only choice to play Aladdin. It is great chance to be a part in a huge fantasy like this, and that too with Amitabh as his co-star.

In other starcast, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Fernande also included. It’s a modern day story on the basis of an age old story. Set in India and about a boy whose name is Aladin . And one day to his utmost surprise and horror he finds that what he thought was only a story is coming to be true.
