One of the greatest classics of Indian cinema, Sholay had the longest theatrical run when first released in 1975. Sholay (Flames) tells the story of Jai (Amitabh bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra), two small time crooks called in by Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) to fight the tyranny of Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan). Ques. You return with ‘Golmaal’ again. Are you looking forward to it?

Ajay: Of course I am, because the first part was really appreciated and still people come up to me and say that they’ve formed ‘Golmaal Returns’ groups which is on the net also. When we started ‘Golmaal Returns’, we were very hesitant as it had to be funnier than or at least as funny as the first part. So there were many scripts we looked at but eventually we found one and we all thought that it was funnier than the first one.

Bollywood acknowledges only Success, not Talent: Diya Mirza

Actress and former beauty queen Diya Mirza said that Bollywood runs on hard mentality, acknowledging only the successful films of actors and not thier talent. She is missing from big screen since her cameo in the box office dud Krazzy 4.

Diya hopes that her off-beat film Bits and Pieces opposite Rahul Bose is released soon. She attributes her absence to the failure of her films and the industry’s ‘biased’
attitude towards her.

She said thatit was important for her to back off from films. She started her career on a good note with big banners, good producers and good actors, but the films didn’t do too well.

After Hrithik and Abhishek, SRK plays Super Hero in Ra.1

After Hrithik and Abhishek, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s turn to make a superhero movie, which is titled Ra.1. According to the news, Shah Rukh has come up with this unique title for the hi-tech sci-fi film.

Anubhav Sinha will direct the movie. But Sinha refused to comment on this movie, but a source said that SRK is taking very interest in the scripting of Ra.1. Anubhav Sinha would like Shah Rukh to be credited as a screenwriter for this movie, if and when his production house Red Chillies actually sets down to making this ambitious sci-fi thriller.

When Vinod Khanna was a HUNK

Vinod Khanna was born on October 6, 1946. Square-jawed, big boned, with eyes that made women go weak whenever he showed up on screen, Khanna was one of the biggest stars of the 1970s and 1980s.

As we know that 22-year old Khanna made his big screen debut as a villain, in Sunil Dutt’s Man ka Meet. but Mere Apne in 1971 gave him his big break, leading to a number of lead roles. By the mid-70s, he gave so many hits in a row like- Parvarish, Khoon Pasina, Amar Akbar Anthony and Qurbani.
